Hello all,
I know it's been awhile since I've been through here to say hello to everyone and post any thing. It's my goal to be better about that going forward.
I'm still out playing music and am currently in the studio working on a new body of work to be released in the early spring. I've decided to step away as an Artist?Producer and leave the production part to the incomparable David Jackson of Daves Hand Productions. This is a "Special" project that I'll speak more about as the release date draws nearer but it is a different rode for me in many ways and I can't wait for you to hear it.
The band and I are still doing 1st Sunday Jazz Mass at St. Augustines Episcopal Church here in Oakland. We love the church, the people and the opportunity to share music that you may not hear in a "traditional" church setting. Aside from the congregants, it also has its own built in audience that is growing monthly. I cordially invite you to come out and experience the warm and welcoming service. It starts at 10AM EVERY 1st Sunday. To date, it is the longest running Jazz Mass in the city of Oakland and we are honored to be a part of this rich heritage.
